I actually liked the "Brown Wallabees" because they don't go as dirty as the tan ones. But yous could at to the lowest degree make information technology where they have more than support. I mean come on if you're paying this price for a pair of shoes y'all expect them to be suitable for you! :)

A tip for breaking in the thick leather of the beeswax stop: put them on with thick socks and estrus them with a hair dryer on high, then walk effectually the house till they cool. You have to get them all the fashion warm -- but information technology actually works.

Poor Back up Great Support
I bought the wallabee bootie and this shoe, same colour, both eight.v. The footbed was unlike. The liner went only halfway underfoot (stopped around the ball of the foot) for the shoe. I similar arch support only the shoe felt odd. The shoe footbed was much wider than the kicking and I had some gaping around the foot. The suede was more brushed, more than rugged with the shoe. I kept the bootie every bit my pes fit more than securely. Clark's makes a less expensive version of their own wallabee, chosen Padmora. I accept that in black and honestly detect it more comfortable (shoe version) so I'1000 going for that version plus the wallabee boot for styling. Overall, this is a cute shoe but super wide. I may effort over again one day of they bring a brown suede version. Photos shoe kick next to shoe, kicking on viewer's left in both pics. Blackness Clark'south Padmora side by side to prove, as well.

I was disappointed that these had very rigid leather uppers and hard-as-a-rock soles. They await so comfortable in the picture! Sent these babies dorsum lickety-split!

My Mom calls them Grandma shoes but I disagree! I honey my Clarks! I used Penguin brand h2o repellant and I sprayed the shoes about three times. Information technology does not work against jean rubbing unfortunately only luckily mine are non also desperately blue. I ordered half a size smaller than what I usually wear (I bought 7½, and I commonly wear 8) and they fit perfectly.

Overall, a Terrific Shoe - I love the way Wallabees look and the thick cushy sole is very comfortable. If they came with a slightly wider toe box I would wear them all the time. I wore out a pair of suede ones, and the leather ones are a huge comeback and volition final forever. They look great (the narrow tiptop seams make your foot seem narrower than most other "condolement" shoes) but afterward several hours my bunions are screaming. Still, if you accept a medium to narrow foot and no bunions, these are the best! The leather is taking longer to stretch out than the suede ones did but I will go on wearing them in any case!

They should call these the "cat burglar" shoes. Quietest shoe I've ever endemic. I got the Chocolate Suede. I ordinarily wear seven.v to 8 but based on reviews, I got the seven.v and they are perfect fit. Super comfortable right out of the box. Don't really demand a breaking in period. I have a fairly high arch and these provide excellent arch support. The pocket-sized wedge sole gives me and my pants just the right height. Will be buying these once more!!

I had been wanting a pair of Wallabees for sometime now and finally got them for Christmas! I take been wearing them everyday since and love them, the gummy sole is and so comfy. A fiddling advice. Do non vesture them in the rain! Besides, sizing is a scrap catchy, the back of the shoe is wider then the front, i got a half size smaller than i usually habiliment and they fit perfectly.

Swell shoe - very comfortable and versatile. Well-fabricated, too. This shoe is roomy, but I don't regret ordering my normal size – information technology'southward not so big that it's uncomfortable or causing blisters. (I wearable size 11.) I love the retro await of this shoe and I much prefer the suede to the leather version.

I Dearest THESE SHOES! I've had my shoes for well-nigh 3 years now and for the first yr I didn't really wear them because I bought them too large but then my feet grew a chip and I wore them. they are the almost comfortable shoes I own. I wearable them almost every 24-hour interval and will soon need to buy a new pair! I would definitely recommend these to everyone.

These are very comfy except for the fold in the within side of the tongue. I have tried thicker socks and layers of moleskin, but the thick crease still bruises the summit of my foot. Does anyone have a fix? I'one thousand ready to take a scissors to them....

I know some people think Wallabees are kind of ugly, just I absolutely love them. I have iii pair. They are super comfortable. They run true to size. I am a 7.five and that is what I always wear in this shoe. Recently ordered the maroon colour and they are super cute. Just maroon enough to be fun, but not too crazy.

I'k obsessed with these! My normal size in just virtually every shoe is a half-dozen. Subsequently reading reviews I decided to order a half size down, which was a mistake. They were likewise little. And so I ordered my normal size, a 6, and they fit neat! No slipping on my heel at all. If y'all're not sure what size to order just go with your normal size.

On my second pair of these now after wearing them everyday for a year. A great cross between fabulous condolement and classic style for the tasteful and subtle dresser. Super practical yet non ugly for someone who needs to wait proficient and be active frequently. In my line of work, I am on my feet for 8-12 hours a day, and I've never come home with any feet or back pain. When you lot break them in, the leather literally molds to the shape of your foot, becoming uniquely your shoe, and yours alone. Quite indelible, because how much I push button them (biking a couple hours on them daily, taken a couple 3-5 mile runs with these on cement and clay paths, walking a TON every bit anybody does in New York, continuing for many hours during work, etc). The first thing to get (after half a year mind you) are the edges of the soft cheese sole, which are great for shock absorption especially on hard cement sidewalks, but less nifty if y'all tread on many abrupt surfaces like gravel roads. Otherwise, best all effectually shoe I've encountered in a while.

I recently bought both the high top and low top Wallabees. I e'er have at least one pair to wear in the garden. They are very washable - set them out to dry in the sunday and they're similar new. Don't know what to say well-nigh style; they are what they are.

I used to article of clothing Wallabees in the 80s and never had a fit trouble, but now I observe that my heel slips around. I tried going downward a one-half size and wearing thick socks and that still didn't solve the problem. I wish these shoes had a narrow width.

These shoes are comfortable simply it took four weeks to break in. I like the way and colour just wished information technology came in black. This is meant for narrow feet and information technology is bang-up every bit a casual dress shoe.

I've worn wallabees for the last 20 years and they've always been my go-to autumn/winter shoe. I currently own a beeswax pair that I purchased through zappos in 2012 and decided that it was time for a new pair. I was and then disappointed when they came in the mail. Clarks has made some significant changes to the shoe and not for the improve. Overall, the shoe but feels inexpensive now. They no longer have a removable cream insert. The insert is now sewn into the actual shoe and it does not become all the way to the toe, it stops about half manner upwardly. The leather does non feel as thick and even the shoelaces have been downgraded. As always, Zappos has astonishing customer service and I returned the shoes with zero bug.
